4G63 7 Bolt EVO 4-9 - Asymmetric Skirt / HD2 Forging - 88mm and 100mm Stroke

The All New Wiseco HD2 Forging / Asymmetrical Skirt Pistons for the Mitsubishi 4G63 2G / EVO 4-9 is a game changer. This new Forging is the strongest available for the 4G63 Engines and has been tested at over 1550whp and 60lbs of Boost. The Asymmetic Forging allows the thrust side of the Piston to have a wide and thick skirt, while the non-thrust side of the Piston to have a skirt width not much wider than a Postage Stamp. This allows material to be added where its needed without adding a ton of weight to the part. These Pistons also come standard with Wiseco's Armour Glide Coating and Armour Plating. While most people are familiar with the Armour Glide Skirt Coating, most are not very familiar with the newer Armour Plate. In Short, the Armour Plating is super hard and strengthens the piston where it needs it the most. Unlike unplated Aluminum, which fatigues with heat and heat cycles, the Armour Plating actually gets harder, the hotter it gets. This makes the Armour Plating a great feature for Pistons that will see some serious abuse.
